Uber Rating Went Down: Uber Driver’s Earnings on June 20, 2023 First Ride

Spread the love

Today, on June 20, 2023, My Uber rating went from 4.94 to 4.93. Let’s find out why? I had an UberXL ride that started at the Airport Terminal Rd & Terminal Access Rd in San Diego and ended in Carlsbad. The ride lasted for 43 minutes, and covered a distance of 32.6 miles. The total fare for the ride was $51.13, out of which Uber’s cut was $16.30.

Before the uber ride, I was waiting at the airport for over 2 hours. During this time, I managed to get a lot of work done, including working on a report for uber weekly earnings for the week of June 12th to June 19th. The pickup was at Terminal 1, and there was no wait time once the passengers arrived. The ride was a bit unusual. Five heavy set people tried to fit into my car with their five bags. They soon realized they couldn’t fit, so only three of them came with three bags. One of them wanted to sit in the front seat, but I had my things and then they sat in the back. It was too hot for them, so they lowered their windows. But I had AC on? Windows open Ac ON. When they left, they left the door open but all said thank you when I got out to help with bags. They were talking amongst themselves during the ride, and I got the impression that they were part of the LGBT community. 100% sure thanks for the bad rating after I did my best to keep you all happy.

After the ride, I felt a bit off due to the passengers’ behavior at the beginning of the ride and at the end. The door left open why? I felt the need to take a break and balance myself in the present moment. I also felt the need to go to the bathroom after the ride also. PP.The experience taught me a valuable lesson about dealing with passengers who are on vacation or at a resort. Sometimes, they might be unhappy because Uber promised something that couldn’t be delivered, like fitting all their bags in the car. Dealing with unhappy passengers who leave bad reviews because of unmet expectations is a challenge. Sometimes, they complain and try to get a refund to save some money.
