Spread the love

I am picking up Andrew who is A FIREFIGHTER and about 5 minutes away.  Also about 2 miles away. I am starting my day in La Mesa, California. Uber customer with a 4.91 rating.  Ordered a Comfort ride. Estimated $7 to $10 I believe. I got $24 with time but the conversation was amazing.

UBER DRIVER APP NOTES / Rider / Pass / Conversation Podcast Vlog

He gave me permission to share so taking a break and sharing our conversation right now.  It’s that good. My first time editing in Adobe Premiere vs zfold4.  The goal is to have templates ready so after each conversation it’s a quick copy past and export.

Goal is to record a 30 min conversation and share it in 30 min online.

Good. Good.

00:00:05:28 – 00:00:29:54
love4allhate4none.org
Your dumbass. Yeah, man. Busy day. Who are you? I am just starting, man. I’m a writer first, right? I’m just chillin like it’s going to be a long night, man. Just chill. Yeah. One right at a time. Yeah. You got family stuff going or errands? No, I need some. Friends are going down to the country, restaurants, that kind of thing.

00:00:29:54 – 00:00:52:55
love4allhate4none.org
Going on at Petco. What time? It starts at four. Shit. Oh, it’s going to be packed there today. So I just got off work this morning pretty late, so I’m trying to catch up. I got a step behind the eight ball right out of the gate. So it’s like. Who are you? My friends want to be at your house.

00:00:53:16 – 00:01:20:19
love4allhate4none.org
Three. And I was like, Yeah, what’s going on? Yeah, we’re almost there. Yeah, I can get you there a little faster if you like. Sometimes in life and things are telling you to slow down. Slow down? Yeah, but I slow everything down every ride. But I forgot what I’m gonna do right now. Stop. Meaning? Leave me alone. Yeah.

00:01:20:42 – 00:01:43:02
love4allhate4none.org
After I’m done. I’ll decide when I want to go. 5 minutes later, maybe I want to stretch, maybe want to pee, you know? Yeah, it’s. Sometimes I forget and it pops in and the noise, it gets you there. It’s like programing. I’m like, Oh, shit, I better take this one. Yeah. What is it like? Have you hear the bell ringing at Kennedy?

00:01:43:25 – 00:02:05:01
love4allhate4none.org
100%. They know it. Yeah. Oh, come on. I know I’m a slave to them. I admit it. Yeah, but that’s part of that acceptance, you know? Yeah, it’s mostly out of my control, but it. It 99%. Yeah. Look, you can slow down, right? You’re happy? I’m happy. We’re good. They can’t take that away. And I’d rather be here than in a prison.

00:02:05:53 – 00:02:36:28
love4allhate4none.org
This dragon uber way better than being afraid someone’s going to drag you at night, you know? Yeah. Totally, totally. Like you got to comply if you don’t, it’s like it’s tough. Yeah, I love it. I like it. We were great because in America you have such opportunity. So where are you from? I was born in Pakistan, got a joke around about it.

00:02:36:28 – 00:02:58:29
love4allhate4none.org
And my mom was like, she goes, Maiden Africa born in Pakistan. So I got a I got some bullshit every day. Oh, right on. Because these people don’t realize it. Look, if you’re going to have sex and you’re out partying, these ancient spirits, they’re they’re going to be like, oh, these guys are vulnerable, right? So that energy then I was born in Pakistan through poverty.

00:02:58:29 – 00:03:22:38
love4allhate4none.org
Right. And somehow my mom got me to America when I was 19 years old. And then I learned about animation and graphics and bro, I haven’t stopped. I love it. That’s awesome. Yeah. So my story is basically I drive Uber, I have great conversations, I add visuals and I just share it as a blog, as a video, as a lesson for me.

00:03:22:38 – 00:03:53:44
love4allhate4none.org
Just what I’m learning for my kids. Yeah. And dude, it’s awesome. It’s like, now it makes uber fun. Yeah, that’s it. Life’s about, man is, you know, I’m a firefighter. Paramedic, so I meet a lot of people. You’re a healer? Yeah, yeah. In a lot of different situations. Yeah, but they’re in there in stress. Yeah. And you know, I’ve, I did, you know, I used to be a mechanic, a computer, computer aided drafting a design and then kind of put it to the universe like, man, this isn’t what I’m supposed to do.

00:03:53:44 – 00:04:16:27
love4allhate4none.org
What am I supposed to do that’s working at an auto parts store? No way. Fire truck rolls up, does an inspection on my building, and then it kind of hit me. It’s kind of like, how do you like your job? Yeah. Guy who’s doing the inspection spent an hour as the other guys doing and just told me everything about the fire service, why it was cool, you know, why be the paramedics and that’s like, you know, I think I’m going to try.

00:04:16:27 – 00:04:38:35
love4allhate4none.org
It took a few classes to get started and never looked back. Continued on screen, became a paramedic. Mm. Tell me, how long does it take to get something from start to finish? Just education wise? Probably about two and a half years. Okay. Because you have to experience an empty course. You can take it a semester. Is it a bachelor’s or is just you associates out of it?

00:04:38:35 – 00:05:01:55
love4allhate4none.org
Okay. You have your general that got it. And then what happens after that? So the EMT course of one class, one semester, and you can work as an EMT, which is basic that’s you know, you know, CPR. Yeah. You take people from hospital to the hospital that are low risk. Okay. And then once your EMT for a year you become in you can go to school for EMT paramedic, which is on the medications intubations the tubes in people’s throats.

00:05:01:55 – 00:05:21:17
love4allhate4none.org
It’s the next level up. You can make more money than yeah, it’s not a lot more money, but more responsibility, more responsive. Okay. So these are the ones that you see in the ambulances. If they’re going lights and sirens or probably paramedics, okay. If they’re just driving around, not with lights and sirens or probably EMT tracings. Oh, that’s a difference.

00:05:21:17 – 00:05:43:43
love4allhate4none.org
That’s paramedics or EMT dogs. Can go lights and sirens if they get called to paramedic level call and they don’t have enough paramedic ambulances up. Got it. Got it. Depends on some blind event. Yeah, exactly. And. Okay, then what happened after that? So I ended up going to school, being a paramedic, working as a medic for probably three years.

00:05:43:43 – 00:06:06:28
love4allhate4none.org
At that point, that was when the recession happened to those, you know, very hard to get a job anywhere. And so I just worked as a medic making seven, $7 and eight minimum wage. Yeah, very minimal. Oof! And then worked my way up to about $13 when I left and I got hired with the fire department. You’re single, you’re married.

00:06:06:47 – 00:06:30:08
love4allhate4none.org
You? Oh, yeah. So tough times. Yeah, but I got hired right when I had my first kid. Okay. Okay. That’s a blessing. It was. It was very much a blessing of Scotland. Wow. Okay, now I can supply my family. Oh, that’s divine. That’s perfect timing. Yeah. And. Oh, yeah, so 2008. So, okay, one year working. So three and a half years.

00:06:30:08 – 00:06:52:13
love4allhate4none.org
Then the fourth year you applied for a firefighter. Yeah. So how does that work? I started at the end of oh six as an EMT became a paramedic in oh eight. Okay. I worked as a medic from the end of oh eight until the end of 2012, since almost four years. And I’ve been a firefighter, paramedic ever since.

00:06:53:00 – 00:07:09:32
love4allhate4none.org
So for ten years. So you’re with the fire like a city in a in a fire and you go stay there for a couple of days a year. We work two days and then when we’re fully staffed, you get four days off. But we have an employee staffed at some time, so I’m usually working three days straight. Okay, so hold on.

00:07:09:32 – 00:07:28:25
love4allhate4none.org
So how do you deal with. Okay, I got a question for you because this is what I want to learn to deal with. Like, okay, when I drive and I see a cop or a cop pulls me over, I feel that energy. You as a paramedic, when you go in and you’re dealing with stress and trauma, what do you feel energy wise?

00:07:28:25 – 00:07:53:47
love4allhate4none.org
Because the level of the situation and the amount of people involved, you’re going to feel something different in the Sixth Sense, definitely. So explain to me, like, what do you because look, you’re dealing with people with high energy, high emotions, which means in my culture, like angels are there. The demons are there. Yeah, exactly. So there’s science behind it where your frontal lobe of your brain is critical thinking.

00:07:54:41 – 00:08:27:42
love4allhate4none.org
And so they teach you in a regular school environment how we think on different calls or you mean different situations. But that stress level is kind of there, but not what real life is like. That stress hormone is called cortisol and it directly event affects your critical thinking. The reason it’s there is because we used to have predators that hunted us instead of people who didn’t think and just ran away, survive and they passed on their genes.

00:08:28:08 – 00:08:46:32
love4allhate4none.org
People who sat there and started a critical thing that didn’t have that blocking thought and they started thinking too much. They got it right. That’s like the story in the new is Survival of the fittest, right? And so that’s why we still have it, even though it’s not really necessary. The freeze. Freeze response, right. Just not thinking. Just get going when I feel that is inside.

00:08:46:44 – 00:09:10:59
love4allhate4none.org
Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So that’s just I need to just breathe, relax and not be in that state because you’re not supposed to make decisions in that state because you’re not programed to do that, you know? And I train you guys aren’t used to that situation in advance. Your question how I got used to it, just being in the industry long enough where my my frontal lobe got used to cortisol.

00:09:11:33 – 00:09:38:55
love4allhate4none.org
So now high stress situations don’t really stress me out anymore because I’m so used to that. It’s almost like an environment. Exactly. You get it’s you build a tolerance. And I know it’s like weed. Like if you smelled smokes more alcohol, eventually you eat more. So you get that effect. Okay. So how do you deal with lifestyle? Well, that’s the hard part is, you know, everyone has a coping mechanism.

00:09:38:55 – 00:10:09:20
love4allhate4none.org
Yeah. You know, the we call it the bucket and everybody has a bucket of stress. Yeah, drop of water. You pour a cup on the situation, the bucket gets out of, you have to empty your bucket and your anxiety levels. You know, I’ve had that anxiety, you know, not a lot of therapy on thinking a different outlook on life, you know, so three types of business in my business.

00:10:09:20 – 00:10:41:02
love4allhate4none.org
Your business and the universe. Yeah. The only one you control is your own. Yeah. So if we’re driving and I’m running late and, well, all the factors that made me get to running late and I couldn’t control otherwise I wouldn’t have been late. And so it’s that acceptance of what is real. And for me, this conversation was supposed to happen for me, for my blog, my podcast, because I love like I get one or two of these a day where you go in deep and I learn about a career as well as opportunity for anyone that’s interested in this field.

00:10:41:02 – 00:10:59:27
love4allhate4none.org
I can talk about it and share it with the world, you know? And you know, you when you start looking at life with that outlook of what’s in your control, what’s not, what is true and what is not, because a lot of people beat themselves up on mistakes they made. I used to beat myself up a lot when people wanted to save, I didn’t save.

00:10:59:50 – 00:11:15:55
love4allhate4none.org
And that’s the lessons. But yeah, yeah. You start looking at it like you don’t know what is true. I did everything I could. Yeah, we’re not God. I mean, we can’t control that or said that that was not what was supposed to happen. Otherwise it would have done something different. Yeah. Or what I did would have changed the outcome.

00:11:16:24 – 00:11:21:59
love4allhate4none.org
So is there a random story that stands out? Like I can tell you? I got one. Yeah. Okay, tell me.

00:11:25:25 – 00:11:52:02
love4allhate4none.org
So I was a brand new medic and it was on the 15 freeway and there were new construction of 15 previously concrete k rails. They had it were like it split over to one lane concrete K Rail And this teenager was driving. He’s probably 17. Mm. And he fell asleep at the wheel and he was in a convertible.

00:11:52:02 – 00:12:18:47
love4allhate4none.org
I remember it was red and this was 71 and that’s why 11 years ago hit the K rail, flipped over on its roof and it was a convertible. Mm. And so, you know generally five miles an hour flipped skid for, you know, God knows how far and me and my partner on the ambulance. So the first on scene and I remember my first instinct looking at that car is, oh, this is going to be this is going to be a dead on scene.

00:12:18:47 – 00:12:38:05
love4allhate4none.org
There’s no way, you know, and I start walking up to the car and a guy there’s an officer, there’s somebody talking to the officer, which I figured was the witness. And I go up to the car and I look at the car. There’s nobody in the car and the car is smashed. I mean, this was the car, the roofline known a year.

00:12:38:05 – 00:12:58:54
love4allhate4none.org
And I’m kind of confused for a second. And I got to the officer and I said he did the drive did get ejected. You know, I’m thinking, hey, where is this patient that I need to render it because I this is it. And I’m like looking at this kid and the kid’s obviously shaken up, but he’s not a scratch on him in a convertible that flipped on his roof.

00:12:59:40 – 00:13:19:10
love4allhate4none.org
And I remember thinking, oh, man, you know what happened? I start talking to him, and all I heard was once again, hold on, let me let me digest this for a second. This is has to be a miracle. It is okay. In my I’ve seen a lot of good, bad and indifferent stuff, right? Yeah. I feel like there’s very few moments like this and this is where you even get it.

00:13:19:14 – 00:13:36:01
love4allhate4none.org
Like, would give me goosebumps thinking about it. But he fell out of the car. No. So I start talking to him. And what happened? He said, Well, you know, it’s really late. I’m leaving my job. I’m just trying to get home. Uh, I fell asleep, and next thing you know, I’m in the air upside down, and I’m like, What?

00:13:36:01 – 00:14:00:41
love4allhate4none.org
And he’s like, Yeah, I woke up upside down, and I felt like somebody pushed me down, pushed me down, and I remember holding on, but I remember somebody holding me in this pocket again. Right. Okay. And I’m like thinking to myself, what? Somebody pushed you down and he’s like, Yeah. And I’m thinking, okay, well, I’m trying to logically think, yeah, yeah.

00:14:01:20 – 00:14:22:08
love4allhate4none.org
Of this. The asphalt, the concrete. When he hit the roof, the convertible, soft top convertible, he’d have scratches all over his head. Yeah. So it has to be a miracle. Yeah. Something happened. Somebody looking out for the spirits right there. The spirits in the universe. Good, bad, you know? Yeah, they both sides. Yeah. And it’s like somebody who’s looking out for you and protected you.

00:14:22:19 – 00:14:36:48
love4allhate4none.org
But the out of the car. Yeah. He opened the door and got out. Oh. Because it was upside down. But the door’s still open. This door still open. He was able to get out and walked out and we find not a scratch on him and we didn’t take him to the hospital because he didn’t want to go. He’s fine or he needs shock.

00:14:36:48 – 00:14:50:06
love4allhate4none.org
He still didn’t go. But no, his battles are all good and he didn’t have a scratch on him. And I, you know, I tried to get him to go over and this is one of your first passengers. I mean, first critical situation. Oh, no, I’ve had many other ones, but that was the first one. So you’ve seen miracles?

00:14:50:24 – 00:15:12:31
love4allhate4none.org
I feel like I have. Yeah, no, I do. I yeah. It’s wild, right? No, I believe it because when I drive there’s been situations where I could have died. Because if you drive 12, 14 hours a day, I get tired, I get sleepy, I’m a human being. And somehow, like a passenger will say something and I’ll do something and get out.

00:15:12:31 – 00:15:33:03
love4allhate4none.org
And I’m like, Thank you. And they’re like, We got you. I’m like, If you didn’t say what you said, write me alone. That’s just not enough sometimes, right? So it’s for me, it was an angel’s voice through him directing me like, Yo, you’re in the zone, wake up. And I just my instinct is responded, meaning the energy had to connect through another person to tell me.

00:15:33:19 – 00:15:53:26
love4allhate4none.org
Now I can take over. And then I sit there with goosebumps and I can’t drive. I take a break. Right? I call myself down and I decide, am I safe, incoherent enough to process or do I need to call it a day? Right. Okay. So you feel these energies when you go there? Yeah. And there’s people that I’ll show up that, you know, there’s in my mind there’s dead and there’s dead.

00:15:53:26 – 00:16:13:50
love4allhate4none.org
Dead and dead, which I know we can just feel it just died. And a lot of the time I feel like and I talk to these patients even though people wait didn’t when you guys you got to talk to they can hear you. And I’ve had patients that have come back that we presented to them. They’ve come by the fire station to say thank you two months later and they go, I remember you talking.

00:16:14:11 – 00:16:31:35
love4allhate4none.org
Yeah, I remember your voice. Well, I know what happens because this happened to me. Like I tell you what happens, I popped out of my body in a car accident. Yeah, I saw it all from outside my body. Then it finished as smooshed back in. And then I jumped out the window and I remember it very clearly. It’s out-of-body experience.

00:16:31:35 – 00:16:52:59
love4allhate4none.org
Yeah. And that’s why they call it that. That’s not the first time I’ve heard that. Yeah. The people I’ve been doing CPR on have told me they were there. Yeah, but not the person I was doing compressions on. They were on the outside. Yeah. Looking at everybody but the vessel, you know what I mean? Yeah, it’s just called a near-death experience, yet I’ve had it twice, three times in my life.

00:16:53:08 – 00:17:13:55
love4allhate4none.org
That’s incredible. But I tell you, I had one like a couple of years ago that changed my life because. Yeah, it’s, it’s it’s the energy is changing in the universe now. Yes. I think, like, if you’re nice and you’re kind and you serve and you work hard, then the universe reveals more. If it’s if you’re seeing the miracles.

00:17:13:55 – 00:17:41:54
love4allhate4none.org
I see them when I drive all the time. Right. I mean, I think it’s very true. And I think, you know, if you have a good heart and you have good intent and have action behind that intended to help people that need help regardless what it is, not even in an emergency situation. Yeah, you’re good. I think that’s a very I like that, that the universe reveals more of something you that’s all you have is Mother Nature and and where the fleas are walking.

00:17:41:54 – 00:17:58:53
love4allhate4none.org
Let’s see it. That is it. Yeah. All right, tell me. I’m just on the left. Yeah, you’re on the left. Hey, man, that was a good conversation. Hey, can I share this on my blog as anonymous? You can? Yeah. Yeah, I think at the over there. Appreciate it. You know what? This was a good message. It was very nice meeting you.

00:17:58:53 – 00:18:08:21
love4allhate4none.org
Yeah, I appreciate it. I appreciate you share it. You know, Mr. Andrew, that moment doesn’t belong to just me. Yeah. God bless you. Thank you.
